The Fantastic Councillor Fox
Cllr W. Terry Fox is not just a hardworking, respected local Councillor, oh no! - This is a creative man with an artistic hinterland - he is also the current Poet Laureate … for Cheshire…yet he still fulfils his duty as an elected representative, attending public functions (see above).
The local authority Communications office sent out a press release accompanying the above bizzarre image of him… emerging from what looks like an underground … err… fox-hole .
But Cllr Fox is no recluse - he is an elected representative for Kidsgrove Town council. Like his namesake in the film version of the wonderful Roald Dahl story it appears the Fantastic Cllr Fox managed to leave his underground home and find happiness living above the earth … in a tree (he also seems to have appropriated the “whistle, click and point” gesture, see below).
